Accounts and organizations

The account, organization, billing, and API access layer that every Gigadrive product shares.

One Gigadrive account signs you in to every product, and an organization owns what you build with them: applications, storage, invoices, and the API keys that reach any of it. Anyone who signs in, belongs to an organization, holds an API key, or pays an invoice is using this layer, whether or not they ever deploy anything.

Organizations

An organization owns the resources and receives the invoice. Every membership carries one of three roles: OWNER, ADMIN, or MEMBER. Owners and admins choose which products the organization subscribes to and hand out seats on the plans that are seat-licensed. Any member can read the organization and its member list, and everything a member creates belongs to the organization.

Product access is decided per organization, not per user account. Gigadrive Network is granted to every organization by default. Which plan an organization is on, and which other products it can use, are decisions an owner or admin makes for everyone in it.
